UNMISTAKABLE IDENTITY

she poses like a pictogram
              who has no roots
rounds herself off nicely
              with flowers that need tending
in constant trickles all day
some say it's a kind of magic
              others a prayer
for good weather, good fortune
              just all kinds of stuff
you could not even imagine
              by the next blue moon
of course it's not about that
telling fortunes, taking a rounded view
              now and again
to pledge herself some real significance
              her colours are yellow
              and sky blue
she will never be erased or recreated
              always in the picture
will never be mistaken for somebody else
