Spring Waltz

Puffed clouds call me to dance
across cerulean and white ballrooms
Tchaikovsky breaking the spring heat
from my playlist

I pirouette,
twirling faster and faster,
the sky and Tchaikovsky
converging

legs leaping
in clarinets and strings
which converge
I dance with space and air

I think I can fly
clarinets and strings
converging
calling
legs spinning

until the strings snap
