telegraph pole top he surmounts –
illusion of overtopping Centre Tower.
Still humid, broiling, sticky heat sunset.
– Peaceful interlude; CBD cacophony.
Unperturbed by impending darkness,
'Telegraph Pole Man' stares into abyss
above the stresses of pulsing city life.
Zen meditation, concentration...oblivion.
