pièce de résistance

A cut above the rest,
out of sight, and mind,
my worldly belongings
I package in plain sight.

As I travel, I travail,
east-west, west-east,

Welcome to my world, where,
by day, I soar dizzy heights,
laying low grass striving,
uninvited, to grow.

I shorten a wilderness
of hope and expectation

Travelling ‘tween
Epping and Ruislip,
my mower, levels the world,
no hierarchy lives here.

My liberty, creates equality,
I nurture, lifelong fraternity.
