No Locksmith

I saw you last night
On my girlfriend's arm
While she rubbed my back
She wore you once, on a string, around her neck
You were supposed to open someone's lock
But, they changed the combination one day
And, no locksmith would pay that price
Heartbreak, though a moneymaker, isn't significant anymore or enough so when it comes to breaking down doors
They prioritize those who've left the oven on
And the hoover going
The baby might be crying
The tub overflowing
But, heartbreak?
Just throw away the key, they'll say
There's another lock somewhere
Or
Leave the door for awhile
Take a trip somewhere
Maybe, find another key
