Magic gone astray

Sleight of hand
it was supposed to be an illusion
smoke and mirrors was all it took
somehow magic happened
abracadabra and kaboom
my plastic magic wand
and my fake crystal ball
weren't supposed to work at all
I'm a magician not a MAGICIAN
now I'm out here in the mountains
snow-capped peaks like towering giants
packed ice under my flimsy shoes
with only my satin cloak
and a ridiculous purple hat
I should have worn warmer clothes to the magic show.
