our feet had to stamp
those biased laws and codes

Before we embraced,
a string of abuses were
knit on our earlobes

Before we embrace,
how about a primer
on biology and pronouns?

Now that we embrace,
body and soul, let's dust
away the hatred from our
feet, from our ears, from
our frames. Frames
that shall and will fuse
