I find myself…

I find myself upside down.
My own weight falls into
my thoughts and
I close my arms tight in.
Securing the bag of all I bring,
I am upside down.
I am cocooned, coated and hooded,
a hanging pendulum circling to
perpendicular.
Upside down.

Falling into infinity is the feeling.
Foot fastened to myself,
I tell time,
both six and noon.
Foot fastened to myself
is my surety.
Sole to sole,
in reflection I stand.
In reflection I am
upside high,
bearing the bag of
all I bring…
the mirror of my
Time and Mind.
