I am who I am

I’m not a mix-match person
preferring to scatter my colours
in haphazard ways
blocking like with unlike
bottom up or top down
twisting in pyramid shapes
turning my kaleidoscope skirts
and dropping one hue for another
in shattered crystal
trailing splashes of red and blue
yellow and green fabric where I go
striking    different.
