She opens it randomly, a way to while
away the waiting time reading is best.

The jinn appears as a slice of moon.
Introduces itself as three wishes.
A gift given from above, opportune.
Should it be diagnosis, riches?

Remembers "If it's too good to be true,
it probably is." Closes magazine.
The jinn disappears. She's next in the queue,
she enters doctor's, only seventeen.
