Guardian of the scales

You have weighed hearts -
your snout sniffing for
their blood-slippery lies,
and the warmth
of their wanting atria,
your ears pricking
at their lub-dub heavy voices.
You have weighed feathers -
your jackal-sharp eyes watching
their light truths rise,
tickling crocodile jaws.
You have weighed them all
until your teeth cracked open
Osiris's green-skinned gate.
