Questions for the moon

Do you also get tired?
Tired
of always adapting
of constantly changing
of never being able to show your true self
except in dreams
where you shine like the sun
twinkle like the stars
and float away like the clouds?

And so, do you,
the crescent moon,
tired as you may be
still shine on
faux sourire firmly in place?
