Waiting

            is both a burden and a gift,
            an opportunity to shift and lift.

            is the space between the here and now,
            and all that I hope to see, and wish it to be.

            is not just a pause in time,
            it is a threshold to a life divine.

            When time ticks at a slow pace,
            patience is the needed grace.

Grace

           is as elusive as a rainbow's flight,
           fluttering, with a soul’s delight.

           is a moment of joy, a simple act of love,
           the whispering wind and a soaring dove.
