- Chapter 09
Campania
She looks up her family tree
To find something other than ghosts
For company through the hours
Through a pile of dishes and a load of laundry
Whilst the child was at school
The playground filled with familiar faces
She has run in that playground too
Unafraid and carefree
Conquering the climbing frame
And from it she saw the hills
It could have been Campania
It could have been Oscor
She could have been born in that house
Where she would be sat at a table surrounded
By laughter and voices
Singing songs in her mother tongue
And from every window a view
Grounded in Time
There would be no need to escape this time
She would be already home
